UCA Rochester Yoga Club was started to bring together UCA students to practise Yoga. We have a professional, qualified and amazing instructor called Kate Ashley. You can check out her website here.
The club is now in its fifth year. Sessions are every Tuesdays from 5-6pm in the New Project Space. Whether you have done Yoga before or not we are an inclusive club open to everyone!
We are a club made for our members and will always aim to work around them so we are flexible to change the day if there is sufficient demand.
There are many physical and psychological benefits of yoga. Physical benefits include improved posture, awareness of body, improved flexibility and strength. Psychological benefits include relaxation, calmness and awareness of the world around us.
Most importantly, it gives us a little time each week to do something productive AWAY from our studies which all UCA students need!
Annual Membership - £25 and this guarantees you a spot every week until the end of academic year.
We have mats available for you to use every session!
